Don’t be confused by the separation.
You may not understand it now, but you will.
We can be so selfish.
We’d rather feed our own satisfaction than be grateful for the bigger picture.
Let it go!
You really think God out here denying you your happiness?…Just because you want who you think you need?
Like He is really out here saying “Nope. This will be so good for you, the right fit for you, this one is equally yolked for you…” just for Him to snatch it away?!
Step back and look inside of your life.
That time you just couldn’t get out the house fast enough, although you were originally an 1/2 hour ahead of schedule was you avoiding that car accident you were about to be in down the street.
That time that potential employer never called you back, although you were over-qualified for the position, wasn’t a mistake. That company currently has staff that are underpaid and overworked, they are short staffed, and with high turnover.
That time you invested everything that you could into what you felt was a fruitful relationship just for it to go sour… That was His protection against you being killed mentally, emotionally, financially, and/or spiritually. When you water a flower and give it light, you should expect a bloom.
Now, Come on; let’s walk and talk…
Be okay with taking your L. “Loss”
I tell people all the time that what gives me peace in taking my L(s) is that I do what I do from my core. It’s internal. It comes straight from the heart. If I give prayer, time, energy, gifts, inspiration, and respect… my only expectation is that a person (whether it be a friend, peer, employer, family or significant other) is to get my RESPECT back.
Be OKAY with taking your L.
God will pay you back just as soon as whoever, whomever, or whatever, doesn’t pay the bet.
Guess what that means?
You win. They lose.
Take your L.
Jesus answered and said to him, “What I am doing you do not understand now, but you will know after this.” -John 13:7
