It’s possible for the most dangerous place in the world to feel like your safe place.
It’s familiar. It’s comfortable. Like eating your favorite comfort food, you know it’s not good for you.
But you keep going there…
You keep going to what feels like your safe haven from the rest of the world. You keep signing up for the very thing God keeps cancelling the subscription on. You keep turning down the road that informs you before you turn on the street: DEAD END.
…
Somewhere in your mind, something will be pleasantly different the next time you go. Somewhere in your mind, your “safe” place with no view and nothing but cement walls and a door, will soon have windows. Somewhere in your mind, you’ll subscribe to that “channel” and it will never be cancelled. Somewhere in your mind, you’ll turn down that street and have an option to go left or right…
But it won’t happen.
Some day, although it may be the scariest thing in the world, you’ll have to stop going to that place, stop trying to have that channel, and stop riding down that street.
One day, your “safe” place won’t have power. There will be no electricity. Your car will run out of gas.
Then, what will you do? Where will you go? Will the person you’re sacrificing for sacrifice for you?
Until Next Time…
